Personally, I use Butterfield Direct:

Thank you for all of your comments, duly noted!
We are a new business, commenced in January 2013 - (hence late night working), the business won't grow itself! We have 24 years experience in dealing with non-fault accidents and thought it about time someone looked after the cyclists!!
We are still putting together a website. We are not just 'plugging' the forums, but are advertising in cycling shops, with clubs and are on Yell.com. You may not know, but with a business you need to advertise and as our audience is the cyclists, where else would we advertise! I am sure CTC and British Cycling are excellent at providing legal assistance and third party cover among other benefits. We do not provide insurance cover and we have a panel of solicitors for any Personal Injury or Loss of Earnings. We provide replacement bikes, bike hire, arrange estimates and speak to the third party insurers - taking all of the stress out of making a claim. This is at no cost to the client, and we are NOT a no win, no fee company. Third party claims for motorists... why not cyclists. You are more than welcome to give us a call.
Has anyone tried ringing them?

judging by their almost non-existent web presence i'm guessing they're not a subsidiary of anyone. they're based in plymouth. i thought they'd been clever and not added a web url cause then the topic would have to be approved. but it turns out they just don't have a website...

If this lot are having to plug themselves on forums then they can't be that good. For all we know they could a subsidiary of our good friends at Churchill.
CTC and British Cycling both provide third party cover and comprehensive legal assistance among other benefits. Why look elsewhere? Support the organisations who support cycling.
Nope, nothing to do with Churchill/DLG. One of the advantages of dealing with a biker specialist firm is that we get proper injury claims rather than spurious whiplash claims from non-existent passengers.
Working out of hours, thats good
But I would rather use a well know and trusted line. Like CTC or Cycle SOS.
Signed up at 8:14pm on a Sunday night. Must have been a late night brainstorming session or things aren't going to well on your Line.
The Train Line - big promotional presence so those new to train travel assume they are THE people to book with. However they charge a fee for every element - transaction and collection method - most TOC's allow collection free and usually deliver tickets free by standard post, and do free cycle bookings (but not all).
So any service which has line and the last word in the title, and promotes so heavily, be wary!
+1
