Never heard of them before but have looked at the site and love the stuff. May well be making a purchase when my annual bonus comes in (depending on how much i spend on wheels, if only there was a forum thread on wheels to assist me....
I'm a convert to softshells and neoprene booties this winter season. No matter how many base/mid/uppermid/top layers I had on the wind always got through - my Endura softshell has sorted that and I now ride anything that is >0deg in just a merino baselayer plus the softshell.
I've bitten the bullet and got a Van-Chilli, if you are ever around Leicester way I would recommend popping in to the shop, it's amazing if you like classic bikes. Their jerseys are unbelievable quality.
Have put another post on about their amazing competition go and have a look if you use Strava just click here and go to the bicycle club http://www.velobici.cc/
Agree with you phax71 the guy in the shop is so nice and thanks for the offer, may be worth putting another post on, someone will snap it up.
On another note ..
I have a Polaris Vortex jersey jacket that annually sees me through the coldest of weather (with a reasonable baselayer).
I recenetly purchased a second brand new one in a Small (My Medium's now about 4 years old) ... and whereas I can get into it, it's actually a little too small for ACTUAL use.
If you're on the small side (36-38"chest) I can mail you some photos, etc ..
They retail at £69.99, I can do it posted for £47.50 if you're interested. It's BRAND NEW WITH ALL TAGS in place.
.. Hope I've not broken any forum rules by posting this here .. it is in response to a question, kinda .. ?
I met the guys behind Velobicci at last years Bespoked Bristol show..
Really nice, passionate people who were happy to stand and chat and talk me through the range..
The stuff they produce is really VERY NICE, for me and the way I ride though I don't think I would buy it (I did say this to them) but that is only beacuse it is SO NICE, I'd be scared of ruining it..
Really lovely stuff, I need to stick with something a little hardier really, I find Rapha, Torm, Endura and Castelli works for me...
Looks good Dave and the price is very attractive, I don't normally go for posh and swooshy but really fancy treating myself this time as it may give me the motivation to keep going, can't let all that money sit in the wardrobe not doing anything.
might not be as posh or swooshy but if you just want to be warm then this is a great buy:

Even though I am still under Dr's orders off the bike, I have just ordered one of these.
