A Lexus GS300 with three male occupants "collided with a wall" in in Bwlchgwyn, near Wrexham at around 4.30pm yesterday (11 April). All 3 required hospital treatment, one of them had to be airlifted to Royal Stoke University Hospital with leg & head injuries. (Daily Post).
The previous day one lane of the A55 dual carriageway was closed due to "a one-vehicle crash", leading to long delays.
Mercedes driver crashes into Voi e-scooters
It's a good job there are onboard speed limiters - just imagine the carnage imagine if there weren't

Tree hit by car in a cul-de-sac in the Shropshire village of Sherrifhales on Sunday evening.

FFS, idiots like this shouldn't be in charge of a shopping trolley, never mind a car!
In Llanbedrog (near Pwllheli, Gwynedd) 3 teenagers were seriously injured in after a Ford Fiesta ST collided with a wall on Saturday evening. Two of them ended up in a specialist hospital in Stoke. Dickheads.

I'd run off if a driveless car almost hit me and then rolled over on its side and expired.

All buildings need a moat !
HGV overturns on the A53 near Shrewsbury.

This is very close to the spot where 19 year old Charlotte Hope was killed and her mother seriously injured only last week in a head-on collision (article here). A man driving a BMW 140i (a 355 bhp penis extension) was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
I witnessed an HGV do something very similar on this same stretch of road about 3 years ago. Thankfully on that occasion the nearside wheels dropped into the ditch and it just ripped out a section of hedge.
Meanwhile yesterday (Tuesday) all the roads in and around Shrewsbury were choked, many moving at walking pace, due to a 2-lorry crash on the A5 dual carriageway bypass. Meanwhile Shropshire council keep approving hundreds of new houses at various locations all around the periphery of the town with little/no cycling access while running down the (already pathetic) bus services. Recipe for chaos.
Crewkerne, Somerset: London-bound trains delayed yesterday morning (Tuesday) after a signal was demolished by a car that left the road. South Western Railway said "Disruption is expected until the end of the day."

In Newquay, Cornwall someone drove their car off a bridge:

Very sad case here, two three-year-old boys playing inside a barn were killed.

Wow. At least he's been asked to get some treatment. And buy the court a round of (cheap) drinks.
(Note he walked 4 hours home so forget about blood tests). I can see I'm trying to sell bridges to the wrong people - I should be going after prosecutors!
Cosmic background radiation caused the collision?
Well that's a silly place for that sign, you can barely see it over a crashed truck! Plus the bridge is wearing the bare minimum of high-vis.
And why did they bother taking an aggravated vehicle? I'd go for a nice calm one instead.
Bingo time! Bollards:
- cause accidents
- so cause delays
- so cause pollution
- stop the emergency services getting through
- AND we're paying thousands for them from our road tax! At a time like this. Madness!
A429 crash in Wiltshire left car stuck in bushes

Looks like they built that traffic light pole out of stronger stuff than normal.
Tesla, so it could actually have been driving itself.
Been there, done, that, Farnsfield. Welcome to the site, but you'll need to be much quicker off the mark next time!
Having a look at the OS map of Dover to better understand its traffic problems, I note that not only is there a Maison Dieu Road (in the KO article) but they also have a Louis Bleriot memorial. Why don't they go the whole hog and declare themselves, Pimlico style, to be an exclave of France?
On the other hand, vis Brexit, they do have a local landmark called the 'Grand Shaft'.
Ah, Manningtree, where drivers can save a few vital seconds when the level crossing barriers are down by taking the underpass.
Fake speed van - bear with me, there is a CCIB connection:
"The video then cuts to an image of a crashed car in his front garden. Rob explained a speeding driver had once lost control of their vehicle and ended up on his property."
Interestingly, the police don't seem too concerned.

Clickbait time:
"Drivers could be fined £1000 asking for change at a car park"
A old law could land you with a large fine
There seems to have been a run of these "drivers could be fined under-little known law", articles, each more improbable than the last.
Rocketing fuel prices spark number plate theft epidemic
My guess would be that as those Audi A.3s don't run on air, this is a lot to do with the local drugs gangs trying to keep overheads down. But if/when things get tighter for people, I wonder what new trends in this kind of thing there will be.
That's a high street outlet.
Not a drivethrough!
I didn't think that modern cars could fit in one of those old style garages.
I stand corrected, all it needs was a little lateral thinking...
Looking at the pic in the cul-de-sac, looks to me that the car could have been on the road next to the cul-de-sac, maybe being drive a bit too fast.
Feel free to prang your car and have a sit in our garden.
Perhaps it's the beginning of a new universe of self-driving cars
