Three whole days of uninterrupted riding time, that's how your bank holiday #mycyclingweekend went down, right?
Well, the rain and stormy weather might have broken up some of your #mycyclingweekend rides, but here the very first road.cc club ride went off without a hitch through the Oxfordshire countryside under grey skies and between May showers.
Our Tech Ed, David Arthur rode alongside a rag-tag bunch of readers, heading out from Decathlon's Oxford store. You'll see a picture of the resilient riders below, accompanied by a few words from ride-leader David.
Going by the rest of your pictures, the patchy showers were patchy enough to get most of your Instagram and Twitter photos in before you got too wet, too. But some of you, whether through misfortune or sheer determination, managed to get a good soaking.
We'll give you a run-down of our favourite wet weather snaps after a quick recap of the inaugural road.cc ride-out from David Arthur:
Despite a morning of torrential rain, seven brave road.cc readers headed to Decathlon’s Oxford store on Sunday for the first ever road.cc ride-out.
Fortune was on our side as the rain stopped just before we embarked on a steady 35km ride out into the surrounding countryside, which was reached in surprisingly short time.
The ride was a great opportunity to meet some of the road.cc readers - stories were shared, friends were made - and all returned to Decathlon’s store with a smile on their faces, and slightly muddier appearances.
Many of you lot were equally as lucky with the weather as this lot in Oxfordshire. Despite the at-times stormy conditions, your ability to stay dry can only be commended.
Others weren't so lucky, but persevered and even relished the conditions.
Instagram user benmerrills, for example, took his only #mycyclingweekend photo from the comfort of his car on the way to the Isle of Wight. While the evidence suggests he's shirking from the conditions, he does mention that he actually did get quite wet on his ride.
As the only #mycyclingweekend participant who captured the real severity of the showers that passed over us this bank holiday, Mr Merrills is the winner of this week's sock competition. Congratulations.
Here, with a little more evidence that he actually got wet, is Instagram user spideygreg and his rain-soaked helmet and gloves on a mid-ride tea break.
And, finally, caught in the act of actually getting wet, is Instagram user allezsteve, who is pictured riding through a stream in the Scottish Highlands' Rothiemurchus Estate.
The UK wasn't the only place to have to deal with grey skies. Check out dagliufuk's post on instagram as he crossed from Europe to Asia over the Bosphorus Strait under mildly threatening clouds.
The rest of you got some decent shots of your rides in the dry. Here are a few more of our favourites:
If you're interested in joining the road.cc members club and taking part in future ride-outs, there's plenty more information here. It'll be launching good and proper very soon, so keep your eyes peeled for more information on our home page.
Our new and improved #mycyclingweekend will be previewed on Friday, and recapped next Monday, so keep a look out for that too.
Once again, if you want to see your photos on the next #mycyclingweekend round-up, remember to attach the hashtag onto your Tweets, or Instagram or Facebook posts.
