Kingston and Bristol are currently each home to a pop-up bike shop – but only for a very limited time.
Temple Cycles, which is based in Bristol, has opened its pop-up shop in a former art gallery on the city’s Christmas Steps
Besides the company’s own hand-built bikes, the shop, which is open until next Sunday 11 September, will sell cycling-themed accessories and gifts, reports
Company founder Matt Mears told Bristol 247: “I am looking forward to showing off what has been years in the making and reinforcing the idea that Bristol is a great city for cycling.
"The Christmas Steps is one of Bristol's most special locations so hopefully as many people as possible will be able to find and visit the shop over the two-week period."

Meanwhile Sigma Sport is promising “serious bargains” at its pop-up clearance store in Kingston, across the Thames from its Hampton Wick flagship store.
A two-minute walk from Kingston railway station, the store opened last Friday and will remain open for a fortnight.
Sigma Sport says that “there will be hundreds of cycling deals, from all the biggest brands,” and that “new stock will be added daily to ensure amazing deals are available throughout the two weeks.”

Went to the Sigma Sports pop up today. Some very good bargains to be had. Not a huge fan of sale shopping but needed a new jacket and popped in heading back from Richmond Park. There's little or no tat, it's all good stuff.
Christmas Steps isn't the most obvious place for a cycling shop. I walk down there most lunchtimes and have found myself looking through the window like a kid in a Werthers Originals advert :-). Truly beautiful bikes, but way outside what I can afford.
Maybe, but it's perfect for any cyclists popping down to get their violins serviced.
