The road.cc DealCatcher's getting another week off to a cracking start with slamming cycling deals on BMC bikes, DT Swiss wheels, and Gore headwear.
Evans Cycles is the location of our first deal and BMC's excellent Teammachine is the target of this particular discount; a 25% discount isn't something to scoff at either.
Second up is Chain Reaction Cycles's 40% discount on DT Swiss wheels. Specifically it's the R23 Spline Road Wheelset that's available at a crazily good price today. There's also an excellent road.cc review to advise you on your purchase.
Finally, fight off the cold weather with Gore's SO headband, it's had a tasty 30% discount too.
Evans Cycles
When we last saw the BMC Teammachine in road.cc Towers it came in a much more expensive package. The company's 2013 SLR01 Teammachine blew our tech editor David Arthur away - he gave it a 9/10.
Where that carbon race model cost £6000 and carried Shimano's Dura-Ace groupset, this Teammachine uses BMC's ALR01 aluminium frame and carries Shimano's incredible 105 groupset.
All in all, it's a total bargain for under £1000.
Chain Reaction Cycles
DT Swiss's R23 Spline groupset are futureproof, as far as our reviewer Jez Ash is concerned.
He tested the disc brake version of these wheels and heralded their quality as well as their fair pricing.
We imagine he'd suggest these wheels are even more fairly priced now.
An 8/10 road.cc rating is well worth a look, especially if you're in the market for a wider set of aluminum wheels that'll see you through the winter months with plenty of pace and comfort.
Hargroves Cycles
Finally, this wouldn't be an October DealCatcher without a bit of cold weather gear.
Gore's SO Headband is an excellent option if you're worried about having chilly ears while also harbouring concerns about overheating.
