road.cc is 10! Book your free tickets to come celebrate with us

As we approach our 10th birthday, we're inviting you to come celebrate with a scenic ride, beer and pizza from road.cc's HQ in Bath! There are 60 tickets available and they're completely free, so you'll have to move fast!...

Happy Birthday to us... it appears that time flies when you're having fun testing, writing about and talking about bikes for a living, because road.cc is going to be 10 years old in September and we don't know where the years went!

It goes without saying that the site would be nothing without all of our lovely readers, so we want to give back to you in the best way we know how; with riding, cake, pizza and beer. On the 7th September we're inviting you to come join us from our HQ at Green Park Station in Bath for a beautiful ride around the hills of Somerset and Wiltshire, with all the pre, mid and post-ride fuel you'll need thrown in for good measure. What's more the tickets are absolutely free, and you'll also get a very special 10th anniversary schwag bag with goodies from some of your favourite cycling brands who will be supporting the event... worth millions at auction in years to come I'm sure, but hopefully this will be a bespoke memento you'll want to treasure forever!

We'll be meeting from 11am outside our offices in Green Park Station (BA1 1JB) and the ride will depart at 12 noon for a route of around 25 to 30 miles. We'll have groups for all abilities and take in some beautiful scenery on our doorstep (hopefully in the sunshine) before returning for the aforementioned beer, pizza and cake to cancel out the effort.

To keep things cordial and so our guests will get the most out of the event we've got just 60 tickets to give out, so don't hang about booking yours... when they're gone they're gone. Click here to register for your free tickets now, and we'll see you in September!

Jack has been writing about cycling and multisport for over a decade, arriving at road.cc via 220 Triathlon Magazine in 2017. He worked across all areas of the website including tech, news and video, and also contributed to eBikeTips before being named Editor of road.cc in 2021 (much to his surprise). Jack has been hooked on cycling since his student days, and currently has a Trek 1.2 for winter riding, a beloved Bickerton folding bike for getting around town and an extra beloved custom Ridley Helium SLX for fantasising about going fast in his stable. Jack has never won a bike race, but does have a master's degree in print journalism and two Guinness World Records for pogo sticking (it's a long story).
