I've had my Tripster V2 since January. I changed out the thru-axle for QR, because all my wheels are QR. I fitted XT Di2 with Synchro shift. I run either 11-40 Cass or 11-32. I changed the 40/28 XT crank to create 44/28 using a 9 speed chainring. It has huge gear ratio. I have 3 sets of wheels 40mm G One tyres or 60mm carbon aero with tubs for faster riding. It's is a true do it all bike. I've ridden up mountains like Ventoux and done club runs to sportives. Extremely comfortable with a nice high stack. I use flat top bars double wrapped, if I want to go super fast I can ride puppy paws aero.
Thanks for the information, am curious about your gearing, how often do you spin out running 44 - 11 combination.
It happened once in September when I was on Military road on the IOW this was with the 40t chainring. I hit 110rpm at around 30mph. I couldn't go faster and got dropped by my group. This was only one section maybe -1% gradient, once the gradient gets steeper gravity kicks in. With a 44t it drops the cadence by about 10rpm, which is alot more manageable. The XT Di2 derailleur is at it maximum with this setup. It functions perfectly and doesn't catch or rub
What do you need to run 9mm QRs in thru-axle dropouts? My disc wheels are 9mm and I'd prefer not to have to rebuild them on to thru axle hubs
You buy the rear QR dropouts from Kinesisand swap. I use the Tripster carbon fork for QR
