Castelli Crash repair?? rather than replace?
Folks,
Does anyone know if Castelli do a crash repair service, i know they do the replacement but as it's a pocket liner even the repalcement is still a few quid! I seem to remember reading somewhere on the forum about Castelli repairing someone elses item? I will be contatcing Castelli as well just thought I'd ask here as well.

should have bought Assos, much better company ...
I bought the pocket liner as its mean to be even better technology wise than the equivalent Assos jack which is dearer again than the Castelli but I was wearing an Assos habu underneath too & it is has sustained rips as well, just waiting for Assos to reply but your quite right reagrding their policy
That's a bit crap. I don't know how many firms do offer crash replacement, other than Rapha.
what is the crash replacement price on the pocket liner,I have this jacket as well and do they cover their high end bib tights as well?
they only offer it on items purchased from the castelli cafe directly ... ahhh grrr.
& it's at full ticket price - 40% which isn't actually that much less than i paid for it via wiggle, so i'm pretty much hung out to dry on this.
Wiggle obviously can't offer anything either.

That is crap, I love Castelli stuff but paying the kind of money we do for their high end clothing should have some kind of policy no matter where we buy it. I have the Surpasso tights which are not cheap either. I was lucky with my Pocket Liner, I only paid £190 for it from a lbs, hopefully she will match that again if I trash mine.
Not yet as far as I am aware, but Castelli Cafe might be offering it soon
