Anyone having trouble saving routes on Garmin Connect?

Been working fine since Xmas-now whenever I want to save a route, after clicking Save it just boots me out to the log in screen-Garmin forum seems to have other people suffering same issue

Garmin responded to my support email as

Dear

Thank you for contacting Garmin Europe.

The issue you are referring to is something that we are aware of and are working hard towards a resolution, however, we do not have a timeframe for this to be completed as yet.

When the issue has been corrected, the fix will be released in a software update. This will be announced on your Garmin Connect account or on Garmin Express. If, at that point you require further assistance please contact us via our Contact Centre whereby we will be happy to talk you through it.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

If there is anything else I can help you with then please let me know. Alternatively you can search for a solution here: http://www.garmin.co.uk/support

Kind regards,

Lukasz

Which is a pretty lame fob off seeing how much I spent on their kit

On a plus side Ive discovered ridewithgps.com which is a pretty neat alternative

I find the mapping / route planning features on ridewithgps to be far better than the equivalent on garmin or strava. The guys there do a great job, just a shame it doesn't have the same user base.

I encountered this a short time ago it was because on their "american" site some upgrading was going on, this was affecting me even though I was logged on with the garmin GB site but thankfully have not had any issues since.

One thing I would suggest is to give it some time between saving a route and uploading to device as the site isn't as good as they would like us to think.

And yes that letter/explaination was a bit off considering how much these things cost

I have had same thing when planning a new route. Has worked eventually but had to redo route several times. However, I found that if I started a route and saved it straight away after putting in one tiny bit of it, then opened it again to edit it, it then saves ok after you put the rest of the route in.
Let me know if that works for you.
Cheers
