Looks like we could be losing one, walked past Palmers/Cyclelife and there is a for sale sign up on the building, not sure about the business though.
Speaking of bike shops in Bristol, Bike UK on Queens Ave has recently (i.e. possibly sometime in the last year) upped its game considerably. It's now bigger and stocks more brands.
Great store. Been to their current store to buy my Argon 18 TT bike & I live nowhere near Bristol! Great selection so will def make the trek to the new store. Very helpful ... And I don't do triathlons! ( rubbish at swimming plus of course I subscribe to rule #42)
might find it easier to sell bikes if they change their name.
Why? Triathlon includes cycling...it is clearly the biggest bike shop in town so shouldn't be too tough for them unless other Bristol cyclists have a bit of an ego problem?
Wow, went to the Triathlon Shop/Cycle Shop (seems to be called both) near Millenium Square in Bristol. Pretty special, doesnt feel like an old school bike shop but has all of the pretty bits in it and the two staff members I spoke to were fantastic. Other shops are going to have to up their game I expect.
the cycling market in Bristol is being shaken up a bit at the moment. Our store is set to open next week, should be fun!
Specialized concept store also just gone live near Ikea
I found them very unhelpful with a tech question I had on my full sussed.
Part of the Certini chain of stores, saw one of their vans parked on one of the overbridges on the M32.

ah ok, thanks. Worth visiting? Had a quick search and the few pictures look pretty good, though it seems unfinished!
If only they sold something in black!
The new cycle shop isn't new, just one relocating from their current shop to a new shop in a weeks time.
