Hi been doing road rides on a mountain bike looking at buying my first road bike as love riding now it is my first road bike ever got 500 pound budget from Runcorn any ideas on what's first time bike would best any ideas would be great plz

I always think the boardmans are good value around that price point, also go to decathlon and look at the Btwins.
Basic advice is that no matter what you buy you will want to upgrade once you get more into it so always try for the best frame in your price bracket then you can upgrade parts as you go along.
