Fulcrum racing 3s seem the obvious alternative- not keen?.
How about:
FIR R7s (if you can find them)
CERO AR30
American classic sprint 350 ?
Well the deal is just until the end of the year (discount code is swisssidepromo if you give it a shot) but unfortunately I probably won't be able to report back until the weather improves now. Although you never know, I might be able get a quick spin if it's not too bad out!
For what it's worth I spent ages looking and researching, and the only other reasonably priced alloy clincher with reasonable weight, lots of stiffness, a slightly deep rim and good reviews that I could find is the Flo 30. That's from the U.S. though, so you have to add postage and import duties, which are a bit vague.
Thanks for that, the Francs look nice and a great deal with the 20% off. I'll be interested in how you get on with them.
I liked the look of these, but a wheel builder who posts on here pointed out the spoke count and lacing technique would not make for strong wheels. I've instead just paid £276 for a pair of swissside franc evo 3 alloy clinchers. Good reviews even compared against £600 wheels, and still a little bit different. This was in the Christmas sale.
