Aero vs. power sanity check

Please help. I’m after a sanity check.

My TT Bike (PlanetX Exocet) has FSA Neo Pro Carbon Chainset BB30 / 175mm / 54/42.

Having fitted a Stages power meter to my road bike I’m now in love with training with power, and “need” it on my TT bike in order to manage effort over the IM bike leg.

As I’m running Ultegra on the road bike I can’t use the same crank, typical!

Stages make a FSA crank but it is not the carbon aero type as used on my FSA Neo Pro Carbon chainset.

Do I need to worry about having the left crank not matching the right?

I’m trying to avoid replacing the entire chainset.

On the plus side using the Sages crank would allow me to remove the Garmin cadence/speed sensor which is surely less aero than the non aero crank!

Thanks
