Comparing Bianchi Impulso and Intenso (and Sempre Pro)

Made very good use of a Bianchi Impulso last year. First road bike after over 10 years away from the sport. Took part in several mass-start events (one or two centuries thrown in there too). Firstly would say that I was extremely impressed with the Impulso, but with it being the first road bike after a long time away I now see that the frame size is on the large side. Over the course of last year I made the usual small adjustements to my position including stem, and ended up with something pretty reasonable, but its clear that a smaller frame would be a good way to go next. I also swapped out some components and brought the complete bike weight down to under 19lb. I am tempted to look into a smaller frame model for this year, and this is where the posting comes in. I am looking at three options. They are from Bianchi.

Now I was am still am very happy with the Impulso and may just obtain a smaller frame of this model, but I'd lilke to hear from any members who have ridden both the Impulso and the current Intenso model (and possible the Sempre Pro) and can describe the differences in ride. Main things I like about the Impulso are climbing (the connection betweent the pedals and the rear wheel feels very direct. I like that) and also acceleration out of the saddle. Get out of the saddle and push the pedals at 20mph and before you know it, its over 36 mph, just like that. Again, this feels good. As far as ride quality goes, I found that after about 1000-2000 miles, there appears to be a bit of smoothing out of ride quality and keeping the tyres at 100psi feels quite comfortable.

I've also mentioned the Sempre Pro here and although its has a slightly shorter heat tube length than the other models, it would still be a good fit

Please not I am only interested in ride differences not differences in the components that are offered as standard on each model, as these can be changed.

Thanks.
