Does anyone know of any good ALU TT bikes?

I like Aluminium because its what hardmen ride.

And I am a hardman.

So far its a Ribble.

I have a Ridley Cheetah which is aluminium frame and carbon aero forks. Mine is the 2010 model which came with carbon 50mm wheels and thanks to the bike shop being keen to offload it before the 2011 bikes came out I got a set of USE Tula carbon bars as well. Cracking bike and very light. Not sure if they still make them and I know the 2011 model didn't come with carbon wheels. There are some good alu framed TT bikes around but I have to say for vfm the planet-x bikes are hard to beat

I think it's a good choice for a TT bike; certainly no point spending megabucks to shave a bit of weight when aero is more crucial. Both Trek and Felt do cracking alu TT bikes for like £1300.

Hi Raleigh,
It is not just for others to decide for tt bikes, you need to chose what sites you, for aluminium try:
Raleigh singulus
Felt S32
Argon 18 E-80
Cube Aerium Pro
Kinesis KT415
cervelo p1
Trek Equinox 7
Giant Trinity
And ture men uses steel

I briefly considered the Felt S32 (the now discontinued S22 had a nicer paint job though), Cube Aerium Race and the Argon 18 E-80 until I saw the Cube Aerium Pro and realised I might as well stick to what I have got for my requirements, using mini aerobars if necessary. Still like the look of the Argon 18 E-80 mind you but think it wouldn't be ridden much to justify buying it in the future.
