it turns out the measures of B and C are inverted, as a result for the M the B is 535 mm while the C is 550 mm, for the L the B is 560 mm while the C is 575 mm
I've just spoken with battaglin customer service
That isn't my kind of bike, the head tube is too short
Or to put it another way, the top tube is too long
The most important measurement to get right is top tube - B, so around 540 in your 1st 2 fits, right between S and M
Seat tube can always be adjusted with seat post height
If you are 178 tall I'd go with M, esp as head tube D is pretty short on the S
I'd try some out with a similar top tube in a shop to check if poss to check reach
For the same as Eddy fit 2 you'd need a 90-100mm stem
It looks as though you have long legs for your height, so will need to ensure you don't end up with a top tube that's too long. I think if you go for Large you will end up having to get a short stem.
I'd probably go with M, from the measurements I'm guessing you're somewhere in the 55-56 bike size range. Also if I couldn't find the right size, I'd rather go with a bike a bit too small rather than one bit too large.
