At about 2.48pm today, Thursday 4th July 2013 North Wales Police and other emergency services responded to the report of a Road Traffic incident in Church Road, Minera, Wrexham involving a pedal cyclist. Sadly the male cyclist, a local man in his 50’s passed away.

Investigating Officer PS Gwyndaf Jones of the Roads Policing Unit said “The circumstances leading up to this incident are under investigation and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident, or has any information concerning it, to contact the Roads Policing Unit by phoning 101”
