'Just Eat delivery driver' [rider] pictured in Clyde Tunnel cycling 'dangerously' close to car
A witness was concerned when he spotted the delivery driver riding his bike through the Clyde Tunnel with a Just Eat box strapped to his back last Friday night.
One concerned witness told Glasgow Live: "When I saw the delivery cyclist, I was surprised at first, almost couldn’t believe what I was seeing, then I thought what an idiot he’s going to hurt himself or a driver.
"And it didn’t look like a pleasant cycle. Poor guy.

Spotted this on my way home tonight.
"I'm in my car. I need to chat to my buddy in the field up there. But I'm in my car. ARGGH I don't know what to do? How can I be expected to make this kind of decision?!"
"AhHa! I'm a genius! I can drive my car up that banking and yell at him out the window."
Sad case of the family hit by the driver filming himself speeding down the motorway. The same driver who had already been in court for driving with no insurance a few years earlier AND even with that previous, just got a warning letter for street racing a few weeks before he murdered people.
The car he was in was "limited" at 155mph. Why are they not limited to 80mph tops? ( A little over the limit for supposed safety as drivers claim you sometimes need to be a bit faster for some reason).

I guess we'll find out if the "I've just got to nip in here" / passing traffic market segment is worth as much as they say.

"In North Wales it's a sign that summer has arrived - a bit like seeing swallows"
why do we never get a photostory of a driver clutching their police NIP or WL saying "what an outrage" and "I'm prepared to got to court over this" etc the same way as we do parking contravention letters?
Random thought on a wet Saturday morning.

"Interesting that her defence was she was mounting a rescue mission. If you are taught how to conduct a rescue or First Aid, you will be told early on the last thing you do is put yourself or others at additonal risk by your actions. Yet this is what she did."

Point well and truly missed below - although the disabled lady's story is a challenge. If only we could set a simple respected rule that allowed her to drive where others cannot.

Schrodinger's flat dweller simultaneously able to afford / not able to afford one / run a car

Imagine what the driver would have been doing if it wasn't heavy animals that could have seriously damaged their car, but lighter cyclists.

Edit: I was looking for local newspaper reports of the incident for some BTL comments when I noticed this story. Why isn't it bigger news in the major press.
Not sure what's unclear here
Nimby. However he's right... barely wide enough for pedestrians AND cycling. There is the (one-way) church Street in the other side, albeit everyone would be held up eg for funerals (those entitled mourners, slowing traffic...)
Basically the fault of the entitled Church of England / historic builders (probably all Masons) for not putting in decent car parking / wider roads. Good luck with getting a faculty (is that right?) for adding some in the graveyard though. Not in keeping!
"I suspect there's going to be a floor in your explanation somewhere sir…"
